Meet Dr. Kenneth Markowitz, M.D.

Dr. Kenneth Markowitz is the owner of MD Legal Consulting of the Lehigh Valley. For over eighteen years, Dr. Markowitz practiced clinical medicine as a board-certified pediatrician for a large hospital network in the Lehigh Valley. In addition to general pediatric care, Dr. Markowitz focused on treating children with concussions and mental health issues such as depression, ADHD and anxiety.

During those clinical years, Dr. Markowitz was involved with quality assurance management, performing medical chart reviews for standard of care, developing case summaries, and providing evidence-based medical opinions regarding patient care.

Dr. Markowitz was also a physician advisor  with certification from the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP). Physician Advisor work focused on maximizing medical expense reimbursement from medical insurance providers through writing rebuttal letters and through conversations with medical directors. 

Dr. Markowitz is now offering his clinical and non-clinical expertise to attorneys as a physician consultant focused on helping people obtain the medical care they need by maximizing case value and reducing attorney time at a reasonable cost. 

Dr. Markowitz values the importance of community service. Dr. Markowitz has participated in charity fundraisers including the American Cancer Society's Bike-a-Thon from "The Bridge to the Beach" and Chai Lifeline's Bike 4 Chai. Dr. Markowitz assumed numerous volunteer leadership roles within the Lehigh Valley Jewish community during the past nineteen years.
